BALOSB Fire Department
The Fire Department serves with a total of 13 personnel, consisting of 1 fire chief and 12 response personnel.
In addition to fire response, fire inspections, fire training and drills within the OIZ area, the BALOSB Fire Department also supports teams of the Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department in nearby neighborhood and field fires outside the OIZ area when needed.

• BALOSB Fire Department personnel will participate in this year's celebrations together with the Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department on September 24, 2025, as part of Firefighting Week, celebrated every year between September 25 and October 1.
• Visuals of the in-zone work, inspections, training and drills carried out by the Fire Department in 2025, as well as incidents responded to, are provided below.
• After incidents in which it is involved, the BALOSB Fire Department diligently carries out the completion of deficiencies and the cleaning, maintenance and repair of equipment required to prepare for future incidents on a 24/7 basis.
